I'm Loving...that the weekend is almost here. My husband and I plan on going out for dinner and a movie Friday night. Saturday will be decorating the house for fall/Halloween. We also are going apple picking. Sunday will be filled with family and TV. My goddaughter is getting baptized, the packers play and so many shows are on Sunday. Which leads me to my next love.

I'm loving...The Mindy Project


This show is so freaking funny and cute! I love it. In fact I watched it twice! I can already tell where the plot is going...(I think) it's like a romantic comedy movie. Oh I can hardly wait for the next episode. Seriously, if you haven't watched it you have only missed one episode. I LOVE IT!

I'm loving..End Of Watch


My husband and I went to go to see this movie last night. It's a MUST SEE. I think it hit home a little more too because I am in the 'law enforcement' field. By the end of the movie I had a new appreciation for Jake Gyllenhaal as an actor. He is kinda cute too!

I'm loving...the pedicure I got done yesterday with this color...





It's really pretty.. Not really a "fall color" but I love it anyways. :)

Thursday Ramblings

I have a bunch of randomness going on in my head right now so that's what this post is about today.


Right now I'm obsessing over the song

I just keep repeating it on my ipod.

I went to the Walk in Clinic today and found out I have a sty on me eye. (hey that rhymed)
It hurts so bad. Seriously it feels like someone punched me in the face. That means glasses and no eyeliner for a few days. I don't live without eyeliner.

Tonight the return of one of my favorite shows is on.

Parks and Rec.

Also, today while running some errands I got really upset about some old people.
Now I understand one day I will be old and will probably need to ride one of those electric carts but seriously. This old guy was backing it up fast down the isle with out a care in the world. Seriously, he almost ran me over. It was scary. Then of course these 2 old ladies were talking right where I needed to pick an item off the shelf. Think they moved as I was trying to ninja my way around them? Nope. But god forbid if it was me and someone talking they would be like "EXCUSE ME"

I can't wait to try this because I have such bad split ends. Just dab a little on after you get out of the shower and it's supposed to help repair those split ends.

This color looks great, a color I will for sure try.

It's ok...that I cleaned the entire house through out the week

It's ok...that when my Mom called today I just wanted to get off the phone with her ;) (not because I don't love her I just hate talking on the phone)

It's ok...that I didn't wash my hair today

It's ok...that when I get 1 or 2 questions right on Jeopardy I feel pretty smart

It's ok...that I LOVE playing games on our Wii

Today I was planning on doing a post on TV Fall Preview but I decided that could wait...
today is...

September 11th, 2012

and I was...


The day that September 11th 2001 happened I was a Sophomore in high school.
I was late getting to me next class because I stayed after and was asking my Spanish teacher some questions on the homework she had just given.
Ms. Lang gave me a hallway pass to get to my next class. I was nervous though because Mr. Smits didn't like people running late and I hated walking in to a classroom with everyone staring at me.

In each classroom there was a TV. I opened the door to Mr. Smits room and no on looked at me. Everyone was just staring at the TV.
I quickly took my seat and asked the girl sitting next to me what was happening. She said that a plane had crashed in to one of the WTC buildings.
While watching the TV with everyone else I saw a plane flying really low towards the other WTC building. And then, it hit the 2nd tower. Chills ran up and down my body. I just knew that this wasn't a freak thing that just happened. This was intentional.

Th rest of the day continued to get worse.

Another plane had hit the pentagon.
Another plane that was intended for the white house crashed in PA.

I was so scared and felt horrible for all those people.
I cannot imagine what they must have been thinking.

Weekend Recap

Happy Labor Day weekend everybody! I hope everyone was able to enjoy a weekend off. (Plus a Monday) if not I totally understand, I have a job that requires someone to be there 24/7 holidays, bad weather, you name it. Jails just don't shut down for some reason...hmmm

Anyway. I had a great weekend.
Friday wasn't anything in particular. My husband and I just hung around the house together. We did however grill out and it was yummy. Around 10pm at night we thought we would run to Mcd's for some ice cream. My poor husband ended up getting sick! Like really bad sick. He doesn't know if it was from the ice cream or the few beers he had while grilling out. Yikes.


Saturday.
Was great! I went to Green Bay to hang out with my oldest sister Jackie.
We went to this place called Smartcow








Oh so good (follow me on Instagram to see my yummy picture )

then we went to Pale Bistro where I enjoyed a wonderful dinner with a Delicious glass of Chardonnay. They have my favorite kind of wine there and I can never find it anywhere! My sister said stop looking for it at Walmart. (We laughed for like 5minutes straight about this)

After dinner we headed to a town called Two Rivers. It runs along lake Michigan. The water and sunset were AMAZING. They were supposed to let balloon lanterns in the air (like on Tangled or Hangover II) however it was so windy they couldn't get them to stay lit. So we stayed for the fireworks. It was a blast!





Now it's Sunday night and my husband and I are just being lazy watching TV/Netflix.

He was watching Sons Of Anarchy
Then I turned on  Revenge and got him hooked on it.
Darn you Miranda it's soooo good!



And now we are waiting for part 1 of the series finale of Breaking Bad (we dvr it and then fast forward through the commercials)
